trifecta

Sorry for keepin' everyone hanging in between posts. I know the suspense is killing you! What's Jaxon been doing? He must be such a popular guy that he never has time to post to his blog. Well, it is true. I am a fun, popular guy. But my mom is also fun and popular, so it makes it hard when she's the one that ghostwrites for me. We'll try to do better ;-)
Here's a picture of me on my way up to Fargo to visit grandpa and grandma Walker and see their new house. This was taken about ten minutes into the car ride. I'm pretty sure I wasn't this cute towards the end of the car ride. I like to say 'cheese' to the camera, but keep wondering why nobody gives me any cheese!
Here we are at the horse races! We got to see this horse, which will be in a Disney movie next year. She was just selected this week and will be going to Hollywood soon. Grandpa says horses only cost $600 so I'll see if I can get my mommy and daddy to get me one for my next birthday.

Here's mommy and daddy and me. It was $2 Miller nite. Mm Mmmm...

Go go go go go go!!! It took me a little while to catch on, but then it was so much fun cheering on those horses. Mom and dad won big on this one-they got the trifecta for a $100!

Here's me with my gourmet dinner that grandpa packed me. Ham and cheese and grapes. Yum yum!

Let's see, I'm 20 months about... what else am I doing these days?
  • Talking in some pieced together sentences- I go outside, mommy's shoes over there, daddy sleeping (especially on saturday and sunday mornings- I say this alot)
  • Copying all the big kids at the park
  • Helping to clean up the house by wiping down the cuppoards and sweeping the floor- just not my toys
  • Reading books outloud to myself (you can't understand me, but I know I'm kickin out some good stories)
  • Testing my parents by choosing timeouts over cleaning up my toys. Smart!
  • Giving hugs and kisses on command and am such a sweetheart that sometimes my mom just stares and shakes her head, wondering how she got so lucky ;-)

Valley Fair

My first trip to Valley Fair was so much fun! Every year, mom and dad take my cousin Zoe. This year, I got to go too. And aunt Jenny and uncle Ed came with. It was so much fun! Here are some pictures from our visit:
This was our first ride of the night- the merry go round. I was a little leary of those horses and opted to sit in the carriage with mom and dad. It was way more fun.
Here I am, ready to go on this Moon Buggie! This is my first solo ride ever!

As you can see, it suits me well. Lookin good in the moon buggy.

Here's Zoe and I in the barrel boats. My mom told Zoe to take care of me while on the boat, so she's holding my hand and telling me it'll be all right. I wasn't scared at all though!

I can't wait till I grow up, so I can sing and dance on stage, just like my big cousin Zoe!
Such a fun weekend. I can't wait till I get to go back next year!
